Replacement Battery Health indicator?

When I replace my iPhone 11 Pro's battery with a new one, will the Battery Health indicator in the settings menu be available and show me the progress of deterioration of the new unit? Or is that only valid for the original battery? Also, are there differences between an Apple-serviced or third-party serviced battery?
