Currently using DPP to convert CR3 C-RAW format to TIFF. The resulting file is very large but still easily imported into Lightroom 6.14 (LR desktop).
I believe DNG Converter is one option. Is there a better option for MacOS Catalina without moving to Adobe's LR subscription model?
The Canon EOS R5 does not have camera raw support in either Catalina or through Big Sur 11.1. When or if that will occur in future versions of macOS Big Sur is known only to Canon and Apple. Said updates, if they occur, will not provide retroactive support to Catalina.

Hello David and welcome to Apple Support Communities. It appears you are having some difficulty with editing RAW format images taken with a Canon R series camera.
You should be able to import and edit those directly in the photos app under macOS Catalina.
