M1 Mac Mini Audio issue

It seems the most common issue affecting the new M1 Macs is bluetooth connectivity issues.. I just got a new m1 mac mini yesterday and had no problems with connecting to bluetooth, however when I plug in my Rokit KRK speaker to the M1 mac mini through a 3.5 mm cable I am unable to hear low and mid frequencies.. the issue is not present when connected to my wired headphones but even after restarting, running diagnostics and reinstalling mac os the issue persists.. which is a very unfortunate issue for a music producer..has anyone else had audio issues with the m1 mac mini or any m1 mac when connected through an aux cable? I believe the issue is either something to do with the M1 chip or Big Sur..
