Connecting to scanner

How can I connect MacBook Pro (OS Catalina 10.15.7) to my scanner (Pixma MG7150)? It used to work with previous operating system (High Sierra) but since installing Catalina I can not get it to connect to scanner

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.15

Your Canon Pixma MG7150 is supported by the built-in Apple AirPrint drivers, and you do not need drivers or software from Canon.

With the MG7150 networked (wired/wireless), visit System Preferences > Printers & Scanners, and right-click on your Canon printer entry. Select Reset printing system… from that secondary menu, and proceed to re-add your MG7150, but this time, choose the AirPrint driver. Once the printer is re-added, there should be other configuration options on that Printer panel for your scanner.

You should be able to use Apple's Image Capture with this device.
