I brought them in for a genius appointment today. They offered to send them out for repair at a cost of $249. Right now they are on sale for $199. It is a shame that a $249 product that I had for 18 months is non functional. I left them at the store for them to recycle. That is so unfortunate. I trusted apple to sell a quality product and stand behind it. This experience tells me that I cannot trust apple to stand behind their products. I will slow my purchase of apple products. :(
