Logitech mouse double click instead of single click - Big Sur

Hi,

Since a few days ago my Logitech G703 wireless mouse started to perform only double clicks.

I have a new Mac Mini 2018 that I have updated to the latest Big Sur version, it seems that there is an issue with this MacOS and third party mice.

On my Windows 10 Pro, the mouse works without any issues.

I tried to change the speed of the "double click" as people suggested in previous threads Accessability>Pointer Control>Double-Click Speed

Any idea how to fix this?

Thank you!

Mac mini, macOS 11.1

Yea I feel your pain...

I keep one Mac on an earlier version for good reason.

Problem is, that Apple has decided to jump ahead to the next macOS, before fully ironing out the last macOS.

Sadly it has gotten progressively worse from High Sierra on. Mojave has a few minor quirks, but the problems really started to compound into Catalina and now Big Sur.

Sometimes you can clear up some of the problems by reinstall macOS over the top. Other times it helps to just blow out everything, install a fresh copy of macOS and then migrate from your backup.
