the mouse does not work on MacAir

Hello, my mice works well with my other laptop winows10 but does not work on mac book air m1. what the problem could be?

Depending on your keyboard or mouse, you might need to connect it to your Mac with a USB cable or use another keyboard or mouse during setup. Use these steps for you to fix it. If your keyboard or mouse won’t connect during Mac setup - Apple Support
