Hello all. I'm struggling with a camera and recording settings for a location I have set up as a second home. It doesn't seem to understand that I want the camera to record motion when I am not at the second residence. Where in the settings do we see the location of second or more "Homes" that we add to HomeKit.
Note: When you lock your device, some accessories can’t be controlled using Siri.
You find it on the Home Page in the Home App , then use the small Home icon Top left - Home Settings. You will see your Homes.
I would think you set up the motion sensor to begin when “ people leave” with an automation. Add that automation to the second home - be sure you’re adding this in that one. The Home Screen will tell you which home you’re working on, there’s a + to add accessories. Or use a Scene
Right here: you just give it a name. Give it one that sounds nothing like your other so Siri doesn’t mishear you. Then set up rooms etc , Add Accessories

Thank you for attempting to help! I have gone through all those settings. Nowhere in there does it give you the option to set your added or secondary home address or location. It's supposed to just work somehow. The question is this. How do I set the address for the secondary home. Right now it is confused and location based settings do not work.
