JAVA Message STILL Appearing?
I am still getting the frequent message about installing a JDK, and have uninstalled Java. Any new hints?

It wasn't Java asking for a JDK. It was some app you have installed (not Java) that has some component that uses Java. It is trying to run that component, so the OS tells you that you need to install a JDK in order to run the java component.

Very few sites use Java anymore.
Yes, I know. I uninstalled it, but continue to get messages that I need to install it; messages pop up four or five times a day.

If you don't know what you have installed on your Mac, not really.
Adobe CS had some Java components. I don't know what else uses it.
