Downloaded fonts not showing in Microsoft Word

Well, after hours of trying to troubleshoot this myself, I decided I need help. I just got a new iMac and was trying to copy over my previously downloaded fonts from my MacBook Air. I put the files (.ttf and .otf) on a USB drive and copied them to the iMac desktop. They showed up in Font Book and were accessible on word, I took the drive out and they were gone. I realized it was only letting me use them with the drive plugged in, so I decided to just download the fonts directly from the site I use.

All of the fonts have been downloaded and are in a file on my desktop, they are showing in Font Book. They are all enabled, there are no duplicates and I have validated them all. I have 44 fonts total, but only 14 are showing up in Microsoft word. I have literally no idea what to do. The fonts showing are a mix between .ttf and otf. so it's not that... mind you, all of these fonts still show and work perfectly on my MacBook Air.

I do not have iCloud enabled so that shouldn't be interfering with anything.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, I'm on the brink of putting my head through a wall.
