Not enough space to restore

My phone is disabled because i forgot the password to an old iphone but now i need it back.

I tried to restore it to it's factory settings but it says that i don't have enough space available... What can i do ??

Did you follow the directions in this link? --> If you forgot the passcode on your iPhone, or your iPhone is disabled - Apple Support
