What are the limits to sending files with an iPhone?

How are you sending the files; email or text? Both have limits; it isn’t the number of files, it is the total file size. However, you can enable Mail Drop, that will allow you to sent up to 2 GB in one email by “staging” it in iCloud. That depends on the email provider. Most limit it to 10 MB, a few to 20 MB. If you routinely need to exchange a lot of files then something like Dropbox, box.com, Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive is a better solution. They have no limit for all practical purposes.
