My "On My MAC" folder is missing. How do I retrieve it?

Thanks for reaching back out to us. When you open Time Machine, you are given a timeline to select from. Choose a date that you can remember that folder being on the computer, and restore from that point. There are arrows to move up and down the timeline until you reach the desired date.
