Scanner issues

The Canon MG5750 printer worked with my old MacBookAir as printer and scanner. It prints OK with the new M1 version but for scanning, it's not doing anything - I get 'The application “Canon IJScanner15f” can’t be opened' Any suggestions?

Please note the information for the ICA Driver Ver.4.1.3a (Mac) under Precaution.


How is the printer connected?

The first driver is intended for scanning, the other for printing. However, as indicated earlier, drivers should not be needed if your MG5750 has been added as an AirPrint printer. I assume that the printer and the computer are connected via a Wi-Fi router.
