request music to be put into ITunes for purchase

There used to be a way to request music to be placed in iTunes. Has this been retired? has anyone seen anything official from Apple about it?

iTunes music purchases not allowing me to download, but shows purchased. Does anyone know how to fix this? I purchased these using my iPhone and less than half of the songs downloaded for use. This has happened on countless albums, but I have recently realized after canceling my Apple Music subscription. I planned on listening to purchased albums. I have inserted an example of my issue here. It looks like this has been an issue since at least 2013 for some users. I tried older fix methods, but none work since we no longer use the old iTunes for playing music. I feel like this should be a legal issue to allow purchase of music, then not allow you to listen to it.

Now that iTunes is dead, how will I buy songs Since Apple is killing off iTunes, what will be the option for those of us who have **NO** interest in a music subscription service to *buy* music? Personally, I'd like to see a way to buy music from the website, as an alternative to having to use a hacked-together install of the client under Wine or to have to dig my 2010 MBP out of my stack of test machines.

Yes, several folks on the Forum have noticed that the "request" link is no longer operational. If there is something you are looking for, seek alternative sources.
