Verification failed when trying to connect to apple store

When I try to login to the apple store I keep getting a message that says Verification Failed, or unknown error occurred

From our understanding, you’re receiving an error message when trying to connect to the App Store. We’d be happy to help out!


It looks like you came from If you can't connect to the App Store, iTunes Store, or other Apple services - Apple Support, which has the best steps to help resolve this. If those steps didn’t fix it for you, does this occur on all devices? If you only own one device, does it occur on a different Wi-Fi network?


It’s important to note, that Step 4 of the article above will have you double check your Date & Time, which is important for accessing Apple’s servers properly.
