Fedex website says my new iPhone is delivered while it is not

I bought an iPhone 12 Pro Max 3 days ago from Apple online store. It was supposed to be shipped to me by Fedex. Today, I tracked my order, it said that it was delivered. However, I checked everywhere around my building, it is not here! What can I do now? Will either Fedex or Apple take responsibility for it?

Mistake In Shipping Trade In Phone I mistakenly mailed my trade-in at a USPS store instead of a FedEx store. Dropped it in their drop shoot. The USPS person said that erroneously shipped FedEx packages are picked up weekly by FedEx and taken to a large facility but they won't look for my package among those they've picked up and I don't have the tracking #. I suspect eventually FedEx will ship my trade-in iPhone 11 but my time to get it into Apple has just 7 days left. Wouldn't Apple, who created the shipping trade-in package have the tracking # and be able to tell if it's laying in the FedEx facility? Any ideas how I can find out the location of my trade-in?

You will need to contact FedEx to find out what they did with the delivery.
