MacBook Pro 16" fan overdrive

Hi there

I have purchased a new MacBook Pro 16" and the fan goes in overdrive (and is loud) while almost no tasks are open.

I run Windows Parallels and use an external Dell Monitor 24" as well connected with a HDMI via a hyperdrive. Really disappointed to spend this massive amount of money on a laptop and performs worse than much cheaper Windows computers. I am running Big Sur.

I have read that many people are having these issues and comments like you have to charge from a specific side etc. I have tried all of these (not that it should have to be the case) and no luck.

Many people say that it is Parallels causing the CPU to go into overdrive, but once again I expect a Mac costing that much to be able to handle basic tasks without sounding like a chopper taking off?

Please can anyone assist?
