I’ve just been notified that my Mac Mini M1 has been dispatched (yay!)
I saw from the tracking info that it is coming direct from China, will I be liable for any import / VAT / Customs fees?.
After Brexit, there’s been quite a lot of talk about this recently in the news, obviously I don’t want any nasty surprises.

The price quoted on the Apple site when you ordered will be the price you pay.
if you bought it from apples online store then no, if you bought it from some online store in china then yes.
everything you buy that is produced in china/india/malaysia are shipped from said countries it's always been that way, customs never been something the end customer had to worry about, pushing product companies produces in other countries.
I received my order today. No fees. I ordered from the Irish website to Ireland. I didn’t order any hardware. It was shipping from the uk though so I thought maybe there was some hidden fees but looks like apple covers that. Best of luck hope you get your mac mini “bernfrom lb” with no issues

I'm more than happy to accept that there will not be any import duty / VAT / fees. But according to my tracking info, the Mac Mini M1 is shipped direct from Shenhzen, China, and I fail to see in the importation rules any difference on duties depending on the store that the product was originally ordered from.
Fingers crossed and hope i'm wrong.
Sorry I forgot to mention that, I bought it from Apple’s online store.
