Bluetooth audio lag on iMac

Hi,

I've got a new iMac running Big Sur and it has started having sync issues and lag when watching any form of video - youtube, imdb and videos on the ssd - and listening on my Sony WH-1000XM4s headphones.

I have no lag on any of my iOS devices and I don't have the problem on my 2015 MBP, which is running Big Sur as well.

I've done all the reset options through bluetooth including deleting the bluetooth plist file.

I've forced the AAC codec in Terminal as well and nothing has worked.

Does anybody have any clues out there?

Bluetooth issues since Monterey OS Since installing the latest OS I'm experiencing really bad sound playback from my MacBookPro (2015) including sound dropouts. I checked the device using another PC and it works OK. Is there a fix for this on the new OS? Any help appreciated.

Bluetooth not working properly after 11.5 upgrade Hello All, I had installed Big Sur on my Late 2016 Macbook Pro 13 and all was working well. I then installed the 11.5 upgrade and after that none of my Bluetooth devices are working properly. The devices connect and are recognized, but they seem to have a connection lag/interference. Audio plays back chopped and both my magic mouse and magic trackpad lag when I move. I tried reseting the bluetooth module, resetting PRAM, and deleting the preferences files. Anybody else having issues? This is very frustrating as mu computer became unusable since I use Bluetooth devices constantly, notable input and audio. Anyway to reverse to a previous version of Mac OS? Thanks anyone for any help.
