MX keys bluetooth connection issues

am unable to connect the keyboard to my macbook pro. I find the keyboard on the Bluetooth menu and get a number to pair to be entered on keyboard but it doesn't seem to recognize it. Logitech tells me to press fn key + 1 (computer) for 3 seconds but that doesn't seem to do anything. Is there a trick or something?

connecting wireless keyboard to macbook air - the only key working is enter i have a macbook air and have just bought a wireless keyboard. The keyboard is picked up by the bluetooth and recognised, however when asked to enter the passkey, it does not seem to work apart from the enter key - am i missing something here?

Set up Bluetooth Keyboard I’m trying to set up a Bluetooth keyboard on a Macbook Pro 13". I would like to make both caps lock and ctrl be ctrl. First, I verify it is connected in the Bluetooth section of system preferences: Then I go to the Keyboard section of System Preferences click “Set Up Bluetooth Keyboard" at the bottom left and a dropdown appears: I select my keyboard: At this point I've tried double clicking (does nothing), and pressing "Done" which just dismisses the drop down. I've also tried renaming the keyboard, but that didn't help. Any ideas? TIA, Thomas
