2. * if you would like to restore from backup: Run Migration Assistant but don not migrate `Settings` from the backup

I have two M1 mac Airs, one battery lasts at least 9 hours, the other gets warm and only manages 4 at best. Also, it claims to be 10.1 years old !

I'm getting it replaced... It IS a replacement for the other Air, that one purple screen crashes every few days. Third machine due 9th April...

Hi, I do not have this problem. My M1 MBP is 3 mth old but my battery barely lasted 6 hrs after full charge. Way lesser than the 20 hr advertise. Still trying to sort out thru Apple Support.
