Intermittent Charging With MagSafe Charging

When I use the MagSafe Charger with my brand new (3 days) iPhone 12, the phone charges for a few seconds and then stops. It continues to charge off and on. What is causing the problem and how do I fix? Phone charges fine with lightening cable.

iPhone 12 Pro weird charging behaviour Hello, since about a month my iPhone 12 Pro has a very weird charging behaviour, when I charge my phone overnight with the MagSafe wireless charger. Sometimes it didn't charge at all. One time it charged, stopped charging, charged, stopped charging in a 5 seconds interval the whole night, cause I didn't noticed it. The last night I charged my phone at about 9:30 p.m. and it charged until 11:40 p.m. when it stopped charging past 74%. At 2:20 a.m. it then disconnected from power even it was the whole night on the MagSafe charger without power outage. Does anyone have a idea if it's my phone or if it's the MagSafe charger? Maximum Battery Capacity at 88%, i don't think that this behaviour is normal even if I have Optimised Battery Charging On. Kind Regards, Thomas
