Will time machine back up my apple music playlists?

I am about to reboot my MacBook Air and reinstall the OS. I have done a time machine back up. I wondered will time machine back up my own/individual Apple Music playlists? I have read several things on here but, I cannot understand talk about XML files.

Thanks.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.1

Your playlists should normally be held within the ~/Music/Music/Music Library.musiclibrary database that is your library. If this is properly backup and then restored along with everything else in ~/Music/Music/ then it all comes back. This also assumes that the media folder is at the default path of ~/Music/Music/Music and all media connected to the library is consolidated into that folder. If this data elsewhere then make sure that location is backed up and then restored.
