Portrait Mode

Hello guys! I have an iPhone SE 2 and I would like to know if there is any way to take a photo in a person's whole body portrait mode.

When I move away to frame the whole body in the photo, the message "get closer" appears and the portrait mode does not work (does not blur the background).

Disappointing the XR and SE 2 portrait mode works only on the face 😒

iPhone SE, iOS 14

Hi again elvioms,

It sounds like you're asking to confirm it's not possible to include a persons entire body in one photo using Portrait Mode on your iPhone. If you're using the rear-camera, you must be close enough to the subject in your photo to detect their face. If you're trying to include the subject's entire body in the photo, you won't be able to get close enough to detect their face using Portrait Mode. With that said, you won't be able to take a photo using Portrait Mode unless the camera detects a face. Learn more about Portrait Mode in the link below:

Take care.

Hi there elvioms,

From what we can tell, you're asking if there is a way to capture a persons entire body in the frame using Portrait Mode on your iPhone SE (2nd generation). We're glad you're here, and we can provide some guidance. "The Camera app lets you know when you're too close, too far away, or if the area is too dark. With iPhone XR and iPhone SE (2nd generation), the rear-facing camera must detect a person's face to take a Portrait mode photo." The link below provides more information:

Use Portrait mode on your iPhone

We hope this provides some clarity.

Cheers.
