I am trying to update my MacBook bro and I am getting a message saying “this copy of the install macOS Mojave application is damaged, and can’t be used to install macOS.” What should I do ?

I am trying to update my MacOS and I keeps getting “this copy of the install macOS Mojave application is damaged and can’t be used to install macOS” how do I fix this and successfully update my mac

Choose Applications from the Finder's Go menu, throw the installer away, and download another copy.

Okay it has been trashed now where do I go to install it again? I don’t see it in system preferences
