Delete secondary admin account

I had created a secondary admin account along with my primary but now I want to delete the secondary admin account but I'm not able to delete it in usual way as I'm not able to select it. Once I open the lock with password, the other admin account goes off and I'm not able to select it. Please help what can I do to delete the secondary one permanently.
