My iPhone is on the UK region (I used to live there and my bank account is still connected) and since I made all my iTunes purchases there I don’t want to risk to loose anything by switching over to where I live now.
Would my iPhone call the emergency number of the region I set it to or the number of the country it detects I’m in right now aka where I live?
The Apple Support page doesn’t clarify that. Any idea?

When you dial a Phone number using the Phone app without an international prefix, where does the iPhone dial? Your Apple ID region or your location of the device. Assuming Dial Assist is enabled on your iPhone, Settings > Phone > Dial Assist [Enable]

I misread your question as your phone is in UK region rather than on UK region.
You should change your phone region to suit where you live.
However I believe it will call the local number even if you omitted ti do that
It should call 999
Even if it called 911 it would still get through on a mobile

Ah yes! I defaults to German numbers without an international country code. Thank you! That means it should call German emergency services! Thank you!
