how to get bass back working is their a fix???
The base works on mine with 14.4

Contact Apple to see if it’s still under warranty - Get Support
Try moving it or try another surface to recalibrate.
Yes 14.4 is very bad for bass. And still you cannot set as default speaker for HomePod mini with Apple TV 4K.
