Emergency bypass message tone not working through Silent Mode

I have my wife set to Emergency Bypass on both calls and text alerts. My phone is always in Silent Mode (I utilize DND every so often). Her calls always come through whether my phone is locked or not, through DND or otherwise. However, her text alerts do not. This is really frustrating cause I frequently miss important texts. Any help would be great.

Volume button not working during calls Hello Everyone! Do you guys facing an issue like, when you call to anyone and place the phone on your ear then try to volume up and down but the key’s doesn’t work during call? You have to unplace the phone from your ears to change then volume… like, you can’t change volume when the screen is off because of proximity sensor… You have to take the phone far from your ears so that you can change the volume and place the phone again on your ears… this problem is happening after iOS 16… It wasn’t there at iOS 15

ios 16.1.1 not allowing text messages alerts After updating my iPhone 12 to iOS 16.1.1 I no longer get notification alerts for my text messages. The text message comes through and the notification shows on screen, but no tone is heard. I have enabled the correct buttons under notifications and the volume is okay. I can manually sound the tone, so it not that. Anyone else having this problem?
