coreaudiod is running high in CPU

Hello,

Whenever I connect my Bluetooth WI-C310 Wireless Sony headphones, and start listening to music, coreaudiod starts going up in CPU usage. It goes all the way up to 80%, sometimes 90%, and the fans in the MacBook start spinning really fast (you can hear it from a far). This only happens with my Bluetooth headphones. When using wired headphones or built in speakers this doesn't happen.

Hello Juan Moises,

Thank you for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. We understand you're noticing a high CPU percentage for _coreaudiod in Activity Monitor on your Mac. We'll be happy to help.

To help isolate this behavior further and see if the CPU percentage decreases, we suggest to restart your Mac in safe mode. This helps to perform a basic check of your startup disk, deletes some system caches and more. Here's an article with more information and the proper steps to take: How to use safe mode on your Mac Once you're in safe mode, please restart your Mac as normal and see if you continue to experience the same behavior.

Please keep us posted with the results.

Kind regards.
