backup photos to amazon Photo

hi there I am running an old MacBook Pro. on 10.14 for photo editing and collecting on Photos app on said Mac. Can I use the Amazon photos app to back up the photos or does this just drop the entire library file in the online storage. I want to show the images on a fire stick TV at my nans house.

Photos version 4.0

MacBook running Mojave

the machine works well and does exactly what I need.

You will need to export the photos from Photos app, before you can back them up to amazon.

Although I think there is a phone app to allow you to automatically sync photos taken on your phone as you take them.
