Recently got a new iphone12 mini. Can I use my old AC adapter (iphone6) to safely charge the 12mini?

Recently acquired an iPhone12 mini. My old AC adapter (iPhone 6) fits and works with the 12 mini. Is it safe to use this adapter with the 12? It seems to work fine

Yes it is. In fact Apple encourages it. See the following from Buy iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini - Apple


We encourage you to re‑use your current USB‑A to Lightning cables, power adapters, and headphones which are compatible with these iPhone models. But if you need any new Apple power adapters or headphones, they are available for purchase.
