Text message notifications

Thank you for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. We understand the banners for your text notifications is not appearing on your iPhone. We'll be happy to help.

We recommend to verify if, "Banners" is turned on for the notifications of the Messages app. To review that, please go to Settings > Notifications > Messages > Banners. If it's already turned on, let's temporarily turn it off and restart your iPhone: Restart your iPhone Then, turn on, "Banners" and test to see if that helps.
