How to remove AppleTV 4K from Remote Management (Leave Remote Management) when it is already released from School Manager?

When the AppleTV 4K:

• is showing up as released in Apple School Manager, and we need to erase it.
• The appleTV will not let you leave remote management from the setup assistant
• being an AppleTV 4K it cannot be paired to Apple Configurator 2 at this stage.
• The appleTV is still on the setup assistant.

The trick is to unpair the remote from the AppleTV 4K (hold down HOME and - (minus volume) buttons, until the remote is no longer paired (notification on the top right of the AppleTV)

Then unplug and re-plug in the AppleTV to power.

After restart the AppleTV will be on the "Pair Remote Screen"

During the Pair Remote setup screen the AppleTV is pair-able to Apple Configurator.

• Pair to Apple Configurator
• Erase through Apple Configurator

After erasing, because the appleTV is showing as released in Apple School Management, the AppleTV will be as brand new device ready to setup and not attached to any remote management.

Bonus: If after pairing to Apple Configurator - the AppleTV won't appear in Apple Configurator connected devices, then unplug the ethernet cable and replug back in, it will remember its paired and appear eventually after a few tries (official apple support recommendation). (Recommended to use ethernet cable for Apple Configurator).

Also... very important to update the AppleTV 4K to latest version, update Apple Configurator to latest version and MacOS too.
