iBank error message

I have iBank v 4.7.5 on my computer. Ever since I upgraded my operating system to macOS Big Sur v 11.1 I get an error message when I close the iBank program that says it quit unexpectedly even though I intentionally closed it. Has anyone else experienced this and how do I fix it?

The vendor (IGG software) that originated the iBank product retired it. The company renamed itself to Banktivity, and that is their principal product currently with native support for Big Sur. It can be found in the Mac App Store. Here is their main website.

In my program I have checked about updates and it sends me to a website called Banktivity.com which is where I can download a new program called Banktivity that says it is compatible with Big Sur and newer Apple products. This is not the same place I got my iBank program from. I got it through the Apple App Store. I am very old school and when it comes to a program that involves all my finances I am very untrusting of downloading things from unknown sources. Irrational perhaps.

Since a program called iBank seems to no longer exist, if I have to get a newer program how would you suggest I can be sure of the security?
