only one external monitor working, not two

My macbook pro (old model) has no issues connecting two external monitors.

My new macbook air, only will pick up one at a time (both work individually, but not together)

Any idea why this is?

Hello Dmolina24,

Thanks for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. We understand that your MacBook Pro has no issues connecting to two external monitors. Your new MacBook Air only works with one external monitor. We're happy to help. Looks like your MacBook Air only supports "one external display with up to 6K resolution at 60Hz."
