M1 Mac Mini Small Cursor

I've noticed after the screen saver kicks in, when I tap on the keyboard or mouse, the cursor is tiny and does not align up properly on what I select. I either have to log out or restart the computer. It's random and can't point to anything in terms of always having this or that going on in terms of apps running. Have the 16gb ram model with 256 gb hard drive.

Hi sirwabbit,

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help today. It sounds like your Mac mini pointer is tiny and misaligned after the screen saver. You resolve this with a restart.

Check out: Magnify the mouse pointer on Mac. Do you have “Shake mouse pointer to locate” turned on? Does this resolve the issue at all if it isn't on?

Does this issue happen in a new user account? Set up users, guests, and groups on Mac.

Let us know further details.

Have a fantastic day!

Hello,

I do have the shake the mouse turned on. When this happens, that feature would not work. It only happens on the main account (I do not have any other accounts. Well I didn't until 11.2 apparently created one, but that is another story)

I removed some devices that were connected to the Mini and I have not noticed it. Perhaps that was the issue?

I will monitor and if I notice, report back.

Thanks!
