Hi, I'm trying to install Logic Pro on my Mac book pro but my version isn't compatible. If I install Big Sur will this enable me to install logic?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.12

if updating the Big Sur update also changes the version.


Changes which version? The OS (yes); Logic Pro - installing an OS does not change the version of extra software. So you will need to figure out the Logic Pro version that will work with your present or future OS.


I am assuming your Logic Pro is an older version? When did you buy it? Or, if it is brand new, then it should work.


Here are the current system requirements for the latest Logic Pro version:
