iCloud storage

Hi I have purchased an iPhone 12 128 gb. I got a message today that my iCloud storage is full 5 gb. How can that be ?

There are a number of ways. If you have more than 5GB of photos on the iPhone and are syncing them via iCloud Photos or using iCloud Backup is just one example. To see what is using your iCloud storage, see: Manage your iCloud storage - Apple Support
