My iPhone 12 Pro was purchased directly from Apple and has never been repaired. Why would I be receiving the message “Unable to verify this iPhone has a genuine Apple camera?”

Well guys, I brought my camera in to the Apple store and had it fixed. They fixed it for free. It was a genuine apple camera, too. They said it probably came to me broken and the update just triggered the software to stop working properly when it found the problem. 🤷🏼♀️ Still kind of annoying with it being only 2 1/2 months old.
Trying to decide if I should wait for the fix of 14.4 or actually take in to a Genius Bar to have repaired. Any advice?
This is still a problem almost through March - when will this fix be in? Camera works but starts at 2X zoom and .5 (wide) will not work.

This is my 3rd I phone 12 pro max that I’ve received about to turn this one in as well now something is wrong with the camera

I have the EXACTLY same issue. It is very annoying. Hoping APPLE resolves this issue soon. It happened after the update to 14.7.1
