Since iOS 14.4 update - unable to verify camera

My iPhone 12 Pro was purchased directly from Apple and has never been repaired. Why would I be receiving the message “Unable to verify this iPhone has a genuine Apple camera?”

Well guys, I brought my camera in to the Apple store and had it fixed. They fixed it for free. It was a genuine apple camera, too. They said it probably came to me broken and the update just triggered the software to stop working properly when it found the problem. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Still kind of annoying with it being only 2 1/2 months old.

Nothing to do with the update. Yout camera has a fault.

First try a Forced restart

If no better

You should arrange a repair

https://support.apple.com/iphone/repair/service

or: contact Apple Support

Anything other than Screen or Battery may be a replacement phone and the price is in the article.
