iMovie does not see my Photos albumn

I found the following recommendation to clear the catch is it current and correct for Photo 6 (13,000 photos) and iMovie 10.2.2. System Library is greyed out on my Photos library so it should be the system library. I reset the defaults on iMovie. Any thoughts?

a) Open Finder

b) Select <Go> from the menu bar

c) Hold down the <Option> key on your keyboard - the "Library" option will appear on the drop down menu

d) Select <Library>

e) Then select the <Caches> folder. Delete all files in the <Caches> folder (not the folder itself).

f) Then select the <Saved application state> folder. Delete all files in the <Saved Application State> folder.

Hi,

I have no idea what the Caches folder or Saved Application State folder would have to do with your issue.

Try going to System/Preferences/Security & Privacy/Privacy. Click on either Photos or Automation in the left sidebar, and enable Photos for iMovie (or iMovie for Photos) in the right hand pane. You will need to click on the lock icon at the bottom of the window and sign in so that you can make changes. Now see if iMovie will recognize your Photos album.
