can I stream from my 4K Apple TV to generation 3 Apple TV

I have a 3rd generation Apple TV in my theater room and it does not have the ability to download newer apps like HBO Max. Can I go to my bedroom or living room and use either 4K TV to airplay that content to the 3rd Gen Apple TV?

no, you can't airplay mirror from the appletv

but you likely can airplay the audio only to the old 3g model
