iphone: those app icons underneath while writing a text message

Is there a way to do a setting where all those app choices, below the text writing space, can just disappear when writing a new text message? I want them gone. Annoying for me but also for an elderly parent it is a big mess!

The icon to do text messaging is deleted how do I add it back on? The icon on my iPhone screen to open up. The text messaging is deleted. How do I fix that?

Sorry, there are no ways to remove them. They are an integral part of the Messages app.
