Import SVG to Keynote
I have seen this question asked in the past, and until just few weeks ago I could import any SVG with just drag and drop, but now, every time that I try it it says "The image type is not supported on this device".
I have seen tutorials about how to convert them into PDF so they keep being vector images, but this is not good enough: I cannot change the color of the shapes.
Currently, the only option that works is opening OpenOffice, add the SVG to the OpenOffice, right click on the image and convert into a polygon/curve, save as PPT, open with Keynote, and voila. But it is slow and tedious.
So, If any can help:
- How it stopped to work? (an update? a bug?)
- How I can fix it?
- Is there any plugin (no matter if it is paying) to add editable SVGs to Keynote?
- Is there any serious alternative to Keynote (OpenOffice does not feels good, and Powerpoint or Google Slides neither support SVG)
