Recovery cannot be completed.

My iPhone gets a white screen with the message "Recovery cannot be completed. Please restore your iPhone from backup". I have restored and updated the iPhone more than 3 times already and it still keep coming anytime the phone goes of and i turn it on. Is there a solution or it's a hardware problem?
