then yes (see section "Compatibility" at the bottom of that page).

The USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter, in the product specifications, says that HDMI video can be played (at different resolutions and frame rates) from iPad Pro and from iPad Air 4th Generation (and presumably 5th generation). Lightning digital AV adapter and lightning to usb C as a combo to connect my iPad to a HDMI screen? I have a lightning digital AV adapter. I use it to connect my iPad 9 to a HDMI screen. Why do your want to use an adapter when in most cases you can do the same thing via AirPlay?
