iPad Screen Artifacts

For the last two days, my iPad has been having screen artifacts. Specifically, when I close an app, some of what was on the screen continues to ghost lightly in the background, even when I go into another app. I've tried hard restarts, but that does not eliminate the issue. The ghosting does go away if I stop using the iPad for a while, but reoccurs with the first app I use. Is this related to the latest IOS update?

For screen “ghosting” also known as screen image persistence, you need to charge up that iPad, power it completely down and completely STOP using this iPad for 4 days, or so.

DO NOT attempt to ever use this iPad during this 4 day period, or you will just have to wait out another 4 days.

4 to 5 days should be enough time for the screen display dots to become sufficiently “de-energised” enough to eliminate screen image persistence for quite sometime.

It may come back, but should not return for quite some time.

You can attempt to keep this image persistence from coming back by keeping your screen brightness down, when you start using this iPad again.
