MacBook Pro 13 inch 2017 display problems

My macbook pro (2017) randomly shut down in the middle of use. When I got it up and running, I can open it and it will wake but as I slowly open the screen farther it starts to dim and then once it is open 90 degrees or more, it goes completely black. I have to close it and wait to open it back up in order to turn the screen on. Is there a software fix for this

No, this is a hardware issue.

Classic display connector cable problem.
